Optional ways to take care of your crew!

Our movers do their very best to prepare for the day ahead which may mostly consist of things like homemade sandwiches, various snacks, and energy drinks. When on a big job, they won't always have time to get another full meal until they get home for the day because they're laser focused on getting the job done. That combined with the heat, makes moving an extremely stressful profession. Here are some optional things you can do to make your movers day go a little smoother.

You can leave the A/C on during the move

The door may be open but having the smallest chill when they come back in the door is always welcome. Also, when our crew begins, they will be mostly wrapping furniture so the cool air will help keeping your crew cool in all that movement.

Think outside the box when it comes to meals during the day

We all like pizza. Everyone likes pizza. It's easy to see why pizza is the go to when thinking of food for your crew. We've all been paid in pizza to help a friend move. Pizza could get tiring for some of our guys that do several moves a week, so consider thinking outside the box. Burgers, sandwiches or any other of your favorite foods in the area. The crew has been working all day, so will be welcome to try just about anything!

Water or Gatorade

Moving is incredibly labor intensive and athletic. Gatorade definitely can help get those electrolytes back to keep going! As far as water goes, store brand stuff works just fine. Our crews are not picky. Except when it comes to Arrowhead. (No one likes arrowhead)

Playing some music

Most movers will have a headphone in but those who don't would be welcome to have the background noise as they are moving and packing. Productivity increases when music is playing. Pretty sure that's been proven by science or something.

Last but certainly not least. If you are tipping, tip each day

If you are considering tipping, his is important to mention especially if you have a multi-day move. You can say "oh I'll just tip them tomorrow" but all of the first day's crew may not be on the second day. Tipping each day not only sends the crew home happy with some extra cash but the following morning, they can encourage the crew finishing the job which only adds an extra motivation to the great job they were already going to do.

Once again, all of these are completely optional ways to make your crew feel special on your move date! With or without these, Get Your Move On will still perform at the same level of excellence that we always do!
